Improving access to the labor market

Bauersachs Foundation develops and implements innovative approaches for career orientation and motivation of young people and improving access to the labor market.

Part of the activities in this direction are the projects implemented with the support of the Trust for Social Achievement in the period 2015 – 2017. In the period 2015-2016, Bauersachs Foundation implemented a project whose main goal was to provide social innovation, through which to support the functioning of the labor market and overcome a large part of the informational imperfections in the “meeting” of labor supply and demand. By adapting and implementing soft skills-based diagnostic techniques, career guidance, motivational coaching and other services, a link was made between the labor supply of vulnerable groups, educational institutions and employers.

In the period 2016 – 2017, soft skills diagnostics and coaching were carried out, as well as career orientation days and visits to the production of Liebherr Hausgerete Maritza. More than 300 students from vocational high schools in the Plovdiv region took part in the activities.
